On Friday the 9th of September it was so exciting Year 6 were able to hold again their Market Day fundraiser to raise money for their Graduation Disco.
The students have been preparing their stalls for weeks and the students were very excited to buy some delicious treats and play some games.
The fundraiser was a huge success.
Thank you students for supporting and well done Year 6!

Over the past two weeks in Year 2 we have been learning about how to write a procedural text. We started with Fairy Bread and then ‘Frog in a Pond’. Each week began with the teachers demonstrating how to make each yummy treat, followed by the students creating their own recipe! The children explored how verbs and adverbs can make a recipe really easy to follow. They had so much fun writing their procedural texts and then eating their yummy treats! 🧚🏻🍫😋

PSSA state Athletics Championships A huge congratulations to Benjamin, who represented our school at the NSWPSSA State Athletics Championships last week. Ben achieved an outstanding result, placing 1st in the Senior Boys 200m and 2nd in the Senior Boys 100m events! We are incredibly proud of his hard work, dedication and sportsmanship. Ben will now go on to represent at the School Sport Australia Track and Field National Championships in November. What an amazing achievement! Well done Ben!

As we head into the warmer months Year 1 has started the term with a fun beach focus. Students have enjoyed reading a variety of beach and water-themed books and using these stories to inspire their writing. They explored verbs through the book Jetty Jumping and used lots of descriptive adjectives to write about different sea creatures. The students have had a great time making connections to their own beach experiences and discovering interesting fun facts about life under the sea. 🌊☀️📚🐠🐙🦀🐚

Nagle College Launches New STEM Scholarship for Future Innovators
Nagle College Blacktown has announced the launch of the “Christine Howe STEM Academic Scholarship”, a new opportunity designed to support and inspire young women passionate about STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics). Students enrolling in Year 7 from 2026 are eligible to apply for the scholarship, which reflects the College’s ongoing commitment to excellence in learning within a supportive Catholic community.
