Sharing the Learning in Creative Arts: We are learning lots of exciting things in Creative Arts this term, integrating drama and technology skills. We are having so much fun working in our small groups and using different equipment and apps. We have also had some time to play drama games to get to know each other and important rules a bit better. Kindergarten are learning about life cycles, dramatising the different stages. Stage 1 are dramatising different fairy tales using finger puppets they have made. Stage 2 are advertising a product using stop motion animations. Stop motion is an animated filmmaking technique in which objects are physically manipulated in small increments between individually photographed frames. Stage 3 are coding animated Easter stories using Scratch. This is a high-level, block-based visual programming language and website for kids to learn to code.

This morning we came together as a school community to celebrate the most joyful time in our Church. We celebrate our Lord Jesus who was dead, now lives again. We celebrate his Risen Life, his New Life. Jesusβ Resurrection promises us eternal life and brings us closer to God. We thank the many families who were able to join us.

This morning we came together to revisit the events of Good Friday. Thank you to Year 3 and Year 5 who led us so beautifully. Throughout the day each year group had the chance to walk the Stations of the Cross. We thank the many parents who were able to join us. More photos of the Stations of the Cross to come shortly. This week in Kindergarten we have been writing about our new Kindy friends and how we can be kind to others. We are using our spaceman to separate words in our sentence and are learning to use our sound charts to spell tricky words. Have a look at some of our awesome authors! π

Year 6 students experience Encounter with faith
In mid-March, Year 6 students from 58 primary schools across the Diocese of Parramatta gathered in Penrith to participate in a new formation experience developed by the Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese Mission Team called Encounter.

We invite you to join us tomorrow Thursday 28th March at 9am to commemorate the events of Good Friday led by Year 3 and Year 5 in the school hall. At 9.30am the Stations of the Cross will commence in the hall for each year group. 9.30am-10.00am: Kindergarten 10.00am-10.40am: Year 1 11.00am-11.40am: Year 2 11.40am-12.20pm: Year 3 12.20pm-1.00pm: Year 4 1.50pm-2.30pm: Year 5 and Year 6 We you can join us as we reflect on Jesus' final moments.
