At OLOL we celebrated Catholic Schools Week in Week 7 of Term 1.
Each grade had turns sharing the learning from their classes during Zoom Assemblies. We also gathered as a school for a Liturgy via Zoom with Father Henry.
It was lovely to gather to remember how fortunate we are to be at such a wonderful Catholic School.

🌿 Stage 2 Excursion to The Field of Mars Reserve! 🌿 Our Stage 2 students had a fantastic day at The Field of Mars Reserve, developing their resilience, cooperation and teamwork skills through a range of exciting challenges! Students tackled three activities: Predator vs Prey, where they built shelters and used water shooters; a blindfolded bushwalk; and orienteering. To top off a wonderful day, two cheeky kookaburras even joined us for lunch! 🐦 It was wonderful to see our students encouraging one another, persevering through challenges and having lots of fun along the way. Celebrating 40 years of Voice of Youth and the power of student voice
Six Year 6 students from 58 Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese (CSPD) Primary schools came together at St John XXIII Catholic College Stanhope Gardens on 22 September for the Voice of Youth Grand Final, showcasing their public speaking skills through a series of thoughtful and engaging speeches.
