What a wonderful day at OLOL last Friday! We celebrated Book Week with our costume parade, watched the teachers perform a Reader's Theatre and enjoyed some great activities in our classrooms.
Thank you to the wonderful parent group and Ms Byrnes for organising the amazing morning tea and coffee van for the Teacher's to also celebrate World Teacher's Day! Congratulations to our students who proudly represented our school at the Parramatta Diocesan Cross Country Carnival. Students demonstrated outstanding effort, determination and sportsmanship as they competed against strong competition from across the diocese.Congratulations to Tyler.H who placed 7th out of 119 competitors, Levi.k who placed 8th out of 119 competitors and Divleen k who placed 8th out of 129 competitors.These students will now progress to compete at the MacKillop (NSWCPS) Cross Country Championships. Well done!

Talented students from the dioceses of Parramatta, Sydney, Canberra, Goulburn, Wollongong and Wagga Wagga attended the trials. Matthew demonstrated great skill and determination throughout the day. We were very proud of the way he represented OLOL. Well done, Matthew!

Today, on ANZAC Day, we proudly acknowledge our School Captains, Jessica and Sebastian, who represented our school at the Dawn Service at Seven Hills RSL alongside Mrs. Clynick. They attended with great respect and dignity, honouring the service and sacrifice of our ANZACs and represented our school community with immense pride. We also extend our sincere thanks to their families for supporting them and making it possible for them to attend at such an early hour. Lest we forget.
