Wakakirri State Awards Night Finalists

OLOL Seven Hills is very proud to announce we have won Best Adapted Story Award for our Wakakirri Performance on Tuesday the 22nd of September and have been asked to perform our item at the NSW Sydney Region Awards Night on Wednesday the 13th of September at the State Sports Centre, Homebush.
We won the following awards for our item, "Once Upon a Fairytale":

Term 3 In Creative Arts This term in Creative Arts we are learning about Dance. This involves performing, composing and appreciating through the elements of action, dynamics, time, space, relationships and structure. Early Stage 1 are learning about space and body bases and shapes. Stage 1 are learning about locomotor and nonlocomotor movements and we will integrate this by learning some line dances. Stage 2 are learning about Australian dance by incorporating bush dancing. Stage 3 are learning about the elements of dance and how they can incorporate these in their own hip-hop choreography. At the end of this term, we will be performing our dances to the whole school and parents will be invited to join us. We are looking forward to sharing what we have been learning.

Diocesan Athletics Carnival Congratulations to Benjamin, Jacob, Summer, Lachlan. O, Hannah, Tyler and Abel who competed in the Diocesan athletics carnival on Friday the 25th of August at Blacktown International Sports Park. A Special congratulations to Benjamin who placed first in the junior boys 100m, 200m and Long Jump event. Ben was also the recipient of the Junior Boys Age Champion Trophy which is an outstanding achievement. Ben will now go on to compete at the 2023 Mackillop Athletics Championships. We wish him all the best! 🏆😀

Parramatta Diocesan Netball Gala Day Congratulations to the Boys and Girls who attended the Parramatta Diocesan Netball Gala day at Penrith on Tuesday 5th September. This year, eight teams took part in the gala day: Junior Boys, 9 Yr Girls, 10 Yr Girls, 11 Girls, 12 Girls, two senior boys teams and one Mixed senior team. All eight teams played with amazing sportsmanship, pride and resilience. Thank you to all the parent helpers, teachers and Nagle students who assisted on the day.
