On Thursday the 28th of June students in Years 3-6 had a very special learning experience in seeing the Japanese drumming group, “Taikoz” perform in the school hall.
The students got to see and learn the names of Japanese instruments such as the Taiko drums, the Chappa cymbals and the Shinobue flute. The students also got to join in with actions and movement to the performances. Some lucky students got to have a turn playing the instruments as well. It was a wonderful experience for the students and teachers and a great way to finish our Music learning this term.

Today, on ANZAC Day, we proudly acknowledge our School Captains, Jessica and Sebastian, who represented our school at the Dawn Service at Seven Hills RSL alongside Mrs. Clynick. They attended with great respect and dignity, honouring the service and sacrifice of our ANZACs and represented our school community with immense pride. We also extend our sincere thanks to their families for supporting them and making it possible for them to attend at such an early hour. Lest we forget.
