This term the OLOL students in Years 3-6 have been learning to play Ukulele, Keyboards and Drums.
In groups they have been working on composing their own piece of music to share with the class, as well as creating it in Garageband on the iPads. It's been a lot of fun! We are excited about the upcoming Musica Viva performance of Taikoz later in the term.

Today our school community gathered to celebrate the Feast Day of Saint Mary of the Cross MacKillop with a special Mass. Thank you to our Year 2 and Year 4 students and teachers for leading such a beautiful celebration and helping us reflect on Saint Mary MacKillop's example of faith, compassion and service. ๐ 100 Days of Kindergarten! ๐ What a fantastic day we had celebrating 100 Days of Kindergarten! Our students have achieved so much in their first 100 days of learning, and we loved taking the time to celebrate this special milestone together. The day was filled with fun activities, including creative craft, making Fruit Loop necklaces, outdoor games, and dressing up for the occasion. There were plenty of smiles, laughter and memorable moments as we reflected on how much our Kindergarten students have grown. We are incredibly proud of all they have accomplished so far and can't wait to see what the rest of the year has in store! ๐๐
