Congratulations to all of the candidates who made their Confirmation on Friday May 25.
Our community was blessed to have Bishop Vincent preside over the ceremony which helped to make this sacrament very special. Our ongoing thanks go to Mrs Judy Barden who coordinates all of the sacraments in our parish. We are very privileged to have her as our sacramental leader and each and every ceremony that she coordinates runs efficiently and smoothly.

As we head into the warmer months Year 1 has started the term with a fun beach focus. Students have enjoyed reading a variety of beach and water-themed books and using these stories to inspire their writing. They explored verbs through the book Jetty Jumping and used lots of descriptive adjectives to write about different sea creatures. The students have had a great time making connections to their own beach experiences and discovering interesting fun facts about life under the sea. ๐โ๏ธ๐๐ ๐๐ฆ๐

Nagle College Launches New STEM Scholarship for Future Innovators
Nagle College Blacktown has announced the launch of the โChristine Howe STEM Academic Scholarshipโ, a new opportunity designed to support and inspire young women passionate about STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics). Students enrolling in Year 7 from 2026 are eligible to apply for the scholarship, which reflects the Collegeโs ongoing commitment to excellence in learning within a supportive Catholic community.

2025 Netball Gala Day. We took 7 teams to the Netball Gala day on Wednesday the 15th October: Snr Boys, Jnr Boys, 12 Yr Girls, two 11 Yr Girls, 10 Yr Girls and 9 Yr Girls. Well done to all teams for their great sportsmanship and lots of great netball played throughout the day. Thank you for the parents who gave their time to transport students or being Team Manager for the day, your help is much appreciated. ๐

Mackillop Athletics Championships A huge congratulations to Benjamin who represented at the MacKillop Athletics Championships at Homebush on Wednesday. Ben achieved an outstanding result, breaking two MacKillop track records! ๐ 100m: 1st place โ 12.43 seconds ๐ 200m: 1st place โ 25.75 seconds An extra highlight is that the previous 200m record Ben has now broken belonged to Tolutaโu Koula, the current fullback for the Manly Sea Eagles, making Benโs achievement even more remarkable! What an incredible accomplishment! Well done Ben!
