On Thursday the 27th of September we held our first ever Creative Arts Showcase Concert.
We got to show the Parents, Teachers and Students all the wonderful gifts and talents of the students in the OLOL Community. We heard a beautiful Welcome Song from Infants classes, saw amazing dance performances from Year 3-6, heard the Choir sing, heard the Ukulele group play and were dazzled by our first performance of our first ever OLOL Rock Band.
Congratulations to all students who were selected to participate. The concert was an amazing success.

🌿 Stage 2 Excursion to The Field of Mars Reserve! 🌿 Our Stage 2 students had a fantastic day at The Field of Mars Reserve, developing their resilience, cooperation and teamwork skills through a range of exciting challenges! Students tackled three activities: Predator vs Prey, where they built shelters and used water shooters; a blindfolded bushwalk; and orienteering. To top off a wonderful day, two cheeky kookaburras even joined us for lunch! 🐦 It was wonderful to see our students encouraging one another, persevering through challenges and having lots of fun along the way. What a great day of learning and adventure! 🌿19 Sep 2026

Our schools are cracking the reading code
Do you remember how you learned to read? For a vital skill that is linked to all other learning, it’s surprisingly difficult to explain how to go about learning it.
