On Thursday the 28th of June students in Years 3-6 had a very special learning experience in seeing the Japanese drumming group, “Taikoz” perform in the school hall.
The students got to see and learn the names of Japanese instruments such as the Taiko drums, the Chappa cymbals and the Shinobue flute. The students also got to join in with actions and movement to the performances. Some lucky students got to have a turn playing the instruments as well. It was a wonderful experience for the students and teachers and a great way to finish our Music learning this term.

Our Year 6 Faith in Action students, along with Miss Douglas, attended the Catholic Schools Parramatta Big Water Walk. 💧🚶♀️🪣 Together with over 600 students, we walked in solidarity to raise awareness for people around the world experiencing water poverty. Along the way, we paused at St Patrick’s Cathedral in Parramatta to share in prayer and reflect on the importance of access to clean water for all. We are now looking forward to our very own OLOL Big Water Walk next Friday, 27th March. We hope to see our whole community there supporting this important cause!
